WICHITA, Kan. – No-till growers across the United States once again have selected AGROTAIN nitrogen stabilizer, by Koch Agronomic Services, LLC (KAS), as the No-Till Product of the Year in the fertility category of the No-Till Product of the Year contest. The award was voted on by readers of the No-Till Farmer’s Conservation Tillage Guide and was presented today at the 2015 National No-Tillage Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. This marks the 10th straight year AGROTAIN stabilizer has been named the top product in this category; no other product has matched this honor.

AGROTAIN stabilizer can be added to urea or urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) to create enhanced efficiency fertilizers that help reduce the loss of nitrogen due to ammonia volatilization.

For growers who practice no-till farming, ammonia volatilization of surface-applied urea or UAN can be a concern due to increased crop residues and soil moisture. AGROTAIN stabilizer helps to control volatilization loss by blocking the enzyme urease, allowing more time for nitrogen to be moved below the soil surface and be available to the plants.
